HOW TO REMOVE HAIRINESS ON GLASS FIBER CLOTH
HOW TO REMOVE HAIRINESS ON GLASS FIBER CLOTH
Glass fiber cloth is a large-scale mass production. During the weaving process, the cloth surface hairiness is adhered to the surface of the glass cloth due to short fibers generated by high-speed interweaving and friction. When the glass fiber cloth undergoes primary desizing and secondary desizing, the residual slurry on the cloth surface will become hard and brittle during the burning process, which will cause the glass fiber cloth running on the desizing wheel to produce a certain slip and loose, this kind of friction on the cloth surface will cause the warp and weft yarns to have single fiber breakage, and the broken fibers will form hairiness and adhere to the surface of the glass fiber cloth.
How to remove hairiness on the surface of Glass fiber cloth
Through long-term exploration and practice of the post-processing section, our staff found that a hairiness dust collector was installed between the sending and storage rack section and the take-up seat of the processor, which can effectively eliminate the hairiness on the cloth surface.
The dust collector is installed in the sending and storage rack section because there are more rollers passing through during processing, and the untreated cloth is hard and brittle. At this time, single fibers that are easily broken will form hairiness and adhere to the cloth surface. Therefore, part of the hairiness must be removed before the glass fiber cloth passes the upper treatment liquid.
After all the processes in the treatment section, it is the finished glass cloth. This series of post-treatment processes will also produce certain hairiness. Therefore, a hairiness dust collector must be installed to effectively remove the hairiness on the cloth surface.
