process:
The manufacturing process creates an open grid pattern by "laying" transverse yarns between two sets of machine direction yarns, applying an adhesive to the structure, and then drying it to hold the structure in place. Some styles can include substrates such as polyester, polypropylene, glass mat non-woven or tissue paper. Mesh patterns can include squares or three-way, and are usually constructed of fiberglass, polyester, carbon, or aramid yarns. All of our scrims are custom designed and manufactured in roll sizes optimized for our customers' production lines.
